MARIEL HAENN: THE STYLIST

The half Puerto Rican image sculptor is the stylistic force behind Rihanna’s “Umbrella” and “Hate that I Love You” videos, as well as the mastermind behind dozens of her red carpet, performance, and candid outfits. Mariel is definitely THE stylist smaaaashing the game right now. Her clientele includes but is not limited to Rihanna, Will and Jada Pinkett and Ciara. Aside from her eye for styling, she is also responsible for designing several of the pieces she places on her clients, which just makes her even doper. Some of her most recent work was dressing Rihanna for the AMA’s (killed it) and doing Ciara’s “Go Girl” video- which she designed.

In an interview with Latina Magazine, Haenn said, “At first I thought I wanted to design clothes, but styling turned out to be more exciting. It allowed me to design the overall look and help create distinguished personalities for musicians and celebs.”

See more of her work on her website www.marielhaenn.com or follow her on Twitter at www.twitter.com/marielhaenn.

Weezy F. Baby [the muthafckin FATHER]

Lauren London gave birth to her first and Lil Wayne’s second son at the Cedar Sinai Hospital in Cali on Sept. 9th. The baby’s name is Lennox Samuel Ari Carter and he was 7 lbs. 12 oz. Nivea was just put on bed rest because she should go into labor any day now....

But dont fret, he can definitely handle the mess. Weezy took the spot for the number one ticket sales for a concert.

He aint the best rapper alive, but he is doing the thing at 26 years old. His ticket sales are higher than Jay-Z and Kanye.

According to Lil Wayne’s tour producer and tour business manager, Shawn Gee, seventy-eight concerts held in North America from Dec. 14, 2008, through Sept. 6, 2009, grossed approximately $42 million and drew nearly 804,000 fans.

"The second highest-grossing rap tour that Billboard has tracked was Jay-Z’s 2008 jaunt with Mary J. Blige, which grossed $34.6 million and drew 310,694 concertgoers to 28 shows, according to Billboard Boxscore. Kanye West’s 2008 Glow In the Dark tour comes in third, having pulled in $30.8 million from 49 concerts that attracted 507,853 fans." (Billboard)

GAG bitches!

Yes, ri-ri is still treating ppl left & right and letting hoes HAVE IT with this fashion shit. Somebody said Amber Rose was catching up... i laughed. Don't they know that is all Kanye's swag? Prior to him she was a synthetic wig wearing, no style having bimbo. Kanye is using her to channel all his feminine energy and it is coming out quite well at times. Anyways... on to the pics.

Yes, rihanna is letting them have it! She's rocking the same shades from the "Run This Town' video made by accessory designer Karin Rose that I featured on this site a few post back.

Now Miss Rose did work this dress. Her body is incredible. Such soft curves. Yes! I can do without the shades and bald blonde head. But to further support my point.... You dont go from this...

To this...

and think it's due to her OWN work.

&& as you know the tribute to 9/11 benefit concert was put on a few nights ago. I found all the videos online at kiddunot.com . Mrs. Knowles-Carter made me wanna get some hair ASAP. 18" remi please!

In Other News...
I found this wonderful dress worn by former ANTM contestant Jade to the MTV Video Music Award's Preparty. I love the dress, just not so much on her. Her stylist did a half ass job. The shoes dont compliment the dress, there isnt enough makeup on and her hair looks terrible. Good try, but a fail. I'll take the dress though.

Melanie Thorton's stylist did a much better job seen here at New York Fashion Week.
